Job Description

ROLE SYNOPSIS
The job holder will be responsible for planning and driving retail operations through the implementation and maintenance of professional retail standards across all Max stores in Jeddah; thereby maximizing sales , maximizing profitability, optimum stocking, increase in customer satisfaction & commercial development

RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Sales & Profitability
In-depthanalysis of the strengths and weaknesses per store, utilizing the financial profit and loss reports and provide corrective action plans
Optimize Sales potential through effective use of available commercial information
Guide Retail Operations Manager with the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses per store, utilizing the financial profit and loss reports and provide corrective action plans
Maximize productivity targets ( sales per sqft, ATV, Conversion etc)

2) Retail & Operational Standards
Conduct effective communication sessions with the respective teams in regard to sales targets and performance
Ensure concept managers monitor store administration systems to maximize operational efficiency
Suggest improvements based on benchmark practices

3) Inventory Management & Stock Distribution
Ensure effective Inventory and Warehouse management for the Business ( order management, stock consolidation, movement and transfer, optimum stock utilization, stock return and shrinkage)
Review and analyze stock and sales reports monitoring over and under stocks , implementing corrective actionto be taken
Review and effectively deal with fast slow lines, new ranges and end of ranges and implement necessary action
Ensure pricing of merchandise as per norms
Provision of monthly feedback to the Country Head on sales, stock positions and product feedback

4) Store Design & Projects Management
Provide guidance and support, to territory, during set-up and merchandising phase
Agree allocation of concept space with Country Head and the projects team
Ensure effective store layouts with regard to sales versus space contributions

5) Manpower Development & People Management
Manage and support recruitment and development of talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support
Identify store training and development needs
Monitor Performance Management of staff by the store & operations manager
Ensure regular in-store communication and training sessions are conducted as per concept guidelines
