Job Description

Responsibilities 5+ years of experience in IBM WMB & MQ Work with Architects and System Analysts to understand technical and business needs Design, develop, unit test and integrate Message Broker flows Work with QA Teams to fix code level defects Work on deployment of Message Broker flows across different environments (Dev, QA, Performance, Stage, Production and Production Fix) Create MQ infrastructure designs and work with MQ team for implementing designs Provide production support Work across multiple projects, allocate time appropriately as needed and meet project deadlines Excellent communication skillsQualifications Good understanding of messaging concepts as they relate to IBM Websphere MQ Experience in developing applications in J2EE or Java in Message Broker Experience in Relational Database Management Systems such as Oracle and DB2 Hands&on experience in Message Broker Toolkit, ESQL and MRM Experience in XML, XML Schemas Use common WMB administrative interfaces, including the WMB Toolkit, WMB Explorer, and the command&line interface Initial installation and subsequent maintenance tasks, environment configuration, and routine administration tasks such as backup and recovery of the environment WMB requirements planning, problem determination and resolution, performance monitoring and tuning, and techniques for extending the capabilities of WMB Expert with configuration Publishsubscribe model and the Java Message Service (JMS) transport protocol and web services Perform essential configuration and administrative tasks for the WMB environment, such as  Configuring the installed Message Broker environment by using the WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit, WebSphere Message Broker Explorer, and command&line interfaces Creating and configuring a broker  Ensuring the efficient operation of a broker
