Job Description

We are seeking a Multi-craft Foreman to join the Drilling Equipment Maintenance Division of Drilling & WorkoverThe Multi-craft Foreman will be responsible for supervising a multi craft crew performing repairs or maintenance in the Drilling Equipment Maintenance DivisionAs the successful candidate you will supervise daily maintenance activities within maintenance shops The Drilling Equipment Maintenance Division (DEMD) is an entity responsible for inspections, repairs, and the certification of mechanical and wellhead equipmentYou will perform all managerial functions common to organization level such as; personnel actions, training and the development of staffMinimum RequirementsAs the successful candidate, you will hold an associate degree in mechanics or related subjectYou will have a minimum of 12 years experience in handling facilities within Oil Gas, or in Utility Organizations, preferably field experienceBe a recognized machinist mechanic with advanced competency certification, and be proficient in critical crafts such as; mechanical, instrumentation and metalsYou will be familiar with the quality management standards such as API spec Q1Q2 or ISO 9001 as well as equipment specification API 6ADuties & ResponsibilitiesYou will be required to perform and demonstrate the following-Be familiar with repair processes and the requirements for API 6A wellhead equipmentSupervise the hands-on work execution of a craft crew assigned to perform large, complex jobs and emergency work, consistent with plans, schedules and standardsSchedule instrument men, electricians, machinists and metal mechanics to assigned work locationsDirect contractors providing services to the maintenance unitVisit work locations to follow up on work performance and job accomplishments of assigned personnel, and advise personnel regarding unusual maintenance problemsCollaborate with Maintenance Superintendents and Engineers to develop daily work schedules, ensuring full and efficient utilization of craftsmenReview work performed by the Unit, and ensure it complies with inspection and safety codes, safety regulations, relevant API and maintenance standardsAOC Job CategoryDrilling & Workover
