JOB DESCRIPTION

The Pre-Sales Engineer is the technical lead responsible for technical and business requirements
discovery for various data center Technologies and solution design, engineering and consulting, proposal
preparation support and technical presentations to customers for our full suite of Network
Infrastructure products and solutions

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in client and prospective client calls with Sales team and support them technically
during meetings and presentations
Perform customer discovery discussions to understand and document business needs and
design requirements necessary for the formulation of optimal solutions
Identify and understand clients business and technical requirements
Design and scope a suitable solution for the client, and estimate its cost and price
Responsible for growing strategic product sales and revenue through proactive engagement
with customers
Exchange knowledge and project exposure with other resources
Follows industry technology trends through self-study and formal training and shares that
knowledge with the customers
Report periodically on the status and progress of his matters to his direct supervisor
Clearly communicates the customer design and solution to the teams responsible for
ordering, implementation and on-going support
Other duties as assigned
