Job Description

Learn to operate all assigned well test equipment

Ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe, orderly manner with consideration to himself, and those likely to be affected by his actions
Inspect, prepare work site and equipment for forthcoming well testing and associated operations
Understand permits to work, to abide by and understand conditions fit for use
Show responsibility for the job readiness of assigned vehicles, plant and equipment
Provide maintenance and repair support to the Well Test Unit equipment
Furthermore, ensure that a thorough self-awareness and understanding of the operations being performed is achieved  Document this understanding
Learn good oilfield practice in all activities
 

Clearly report on operations performed and collect accurate data
Support the company HSE policy in all operations
Continually monitor and challenge work practices
Assist with other duties as assigned from time to time
Participate in the company’s training programme
Participate actively in all work related training
 
HSE Responsibilities

Promptly report all unsafe conditions, unsafe activities, accidents and near misses
Learn the proper corrective action with regard to unsafe and unhealthy procedures, methods, facilities, equipment and substances
Demonstrate a strong and personal commitment to HSE awareness
Ensure that all work for which he is responsible, is carried out with full regard to
the applicable HSE procedures

Advise his immediate workforce and any other persons, of potential hazards
arising from the work activities that are under his control

Ensure that subordinates and other well site workers under his control make correct use of suitable personal protective equipment
Be familiar with all safety and emergency equipment and check that it is maintained in an operable condition
Check that all facilities, tools and equipment, in use are in an operable condition
 

Actively participate in all toolbox talks and HSE meetings
Actively participate in inspections and audits in order to identify and eliminate hazards to health, safety and the environment
Participation in the follow-up and closeout of inspection and audit findings
 Note that the above HSE responsibilities are applicable in the capacity as a Well Test Trainee  As an Employee of MBPS, the Trainee must also familiarize with the HSE responsibilities of employees, as shown in the MBPS Employee Pocket Book Health, Safety and Environmental Protection - Policy, Responsibilities and Accident Prevention
