Position Description DREAM BIG As one of the worlds largest fully integrated energy enterprises, Saudi Aramco not only looks for individuals who can meet our expectations but for those individuals who can exceed them Our intent is to become the worlds leading integrated energy company by 2020, and to accomplish our goals, we want and encourage you, to Dream Big The professional rewards at Saudi Aramco are amazing, but so too are the lifestyle and benefits We are currently seeking an experienced [Windows Security Specialist] to join the Information Technology Department, Saudi Arabia Responsibilities Include The Hydrocarbon Applications Department (HAD) is looking for a Network and Windows Security Specialist to assist the Real Time System division who are supporting various network, communication, control systems, operating systems, and Web application technologies including Cisco, Juniper, Honeywell SCADA, Windows, UNIX, McAfee IPS ePO, Net, and Symantec Backup The candidate will need solid technical knowledge and experience on network and operating systems security Candidates will be accountable to oversee the security aspects of all networks, systems, and applications to maintain them at optimal secure operating conditions, implement new technologies to strengthen their security, develop procedures and instruction manuals to sustain their security at highest level This includes developing and executing projects to upgrade existing network systems and security solutions Selection Criteria Must have 10 years of experience in network and operating systems security Must have 5 years of experience in executing network installation and upgrade projects as well as in developing security strategies, roadmaps, policies, instruction manuals and guidelines Current with cutting-edge security solutions, countermeasures and network technology advancements Solid experience in conducting network and application vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliancerisks assessments Certified as CISSP (Certified Information Security Systems Professional) GCWN (Certified Windows Security Administration) CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) JNCIP-SEC (Juniper Networks Certified Professional Security) MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) Preferably certified as CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) GCIH (Certified Incident Handler) GPEN (Penetration Tester) GCFW (Certified Firewall Analyst) Familiar with OWASP, CVSS, CWE, OSSTMM andor SANS-25 methodologies Fluent in English (verbal, presentation and written), including the ability to collaborate and influence effectively across all levels of a matrix organization Have excellent analytical and project management skills Minimum Requirements A EDUCATION Bachelor of Science (BS) OR Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Technology (MIS), Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration B EXPERIENCE Minimum ten (10) years in computing environment C LANGUAGE Thoroughly proficient in both verbal and written English Duties & Responsibilities Duties below are representative, but not inclusive A Provide work direction to the Operating Systems Specialist Group, and serve as team leader for major studies and projects performed by the Group in areas stated above in Scope B Coordinate the implementation of operating systems installed in Aramco computer centers work with systems analysts, operating personnel, vendor representatives, and EDP Applications personnel C Review newly selected operating data base and TP systems jointly with various Computer Communications Services Organization Departments D Assist CO&SD Divisions in solving operational problems, gathering information, defining operating systems objectives, and developing and presenting recommendations E Monitor system availability for mainframe operation makes recommendations to the operation to assure the highest level of system availability F Determine data gathering methods needed to monitor hardware and software performance and forecast future needs; directs the activities of subordinate professional and technical personnel in performing studies and other data gathering activities G Provide liaison for data processing users in SAO, AOC & ASC during new operating system development and installation H Perform high-level physical planning of computerdata processing installations, and directs day-to-day work in this area performed by subordinate professional personnel in the Operating Systems Specialist Group I Keep current with technical advances in the computer field and ensures subordinates are aware of new developments
