JOB SUMMARY:
Working with the Executive Chef,
the Chef &- Patient Meals leads and manages the team of chefs and service
personnel to achieve the highest standard of a room service meal delivery
model. He/ She ensures the production and delivery of safe and healthy meals
that meet the nutrition requirements of patients. The Chef &- Patient Meals is
also responsible to meet the operational needs of the business at all times.
KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Directs
the daily operations of food production, including menu planning,
purchasing, ordering, inventory and food preparationDirects
kitchen personnel engaged in preparing, cooking and serving food.Oversees
the preparation, portioning, garnishing, presentation and safe storage of
food and solves menu problems (e.g. recipe substitutions).Ensures
that kitchen, equipment, and storage facilities are sanitary, neat and
organized.Trains
other chefs in culinary skills and serves as a technical expert.Probes
potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of
problems or issues, using appropriate sidra resources when necessary.Supervises
day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and
prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.Manages
and monitors the performance of direct reportee's by providing positive
and constructive feedback and performance evaluations of employees in the
service line to reward, coach, correct and motivate.Confers
and advises patients and families on specific dietary modified recipes to
ensure proper food and nutrition requirements are met with.Ensures
all licenses and certification are current for employees.Ensures
compliance with all government and sidra regulations, policies and
procedures (e.g. HACCP, quality assurance, safety, operations, and
personnel).Ensures
a fine dining experience is provided for executivesEnsures
the use of business systems (CBORD)
effectivelyEstablishes
a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training
and equipment maintenance and by ensuring compliance with sidra’s safety
and loss prevention programs and standards.Manages
the budget by controlling costs (e.g. labour, inventory, equipment, and

and develops guest relationships and guest satisfaction for all aspects of
food production to ensure guest retention.Plans

JOB SUMMARY:
Working with the Executive Chef,
the Chef &- Patient Meals leads and manages the team of chefs and service
personnel to achieve the highest standard of a room service meal delivery model.
He/ She ensures the production and delivery of safe and healthy meals that meet
the nutrition requirements of patients. The Chef &- Patient Meals is also
responsible to meet the operational needs of the business at all times.
KEY ROLE
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Directs the daily operations of food production, including menu
planning, purchasing, ordering, inventory and food preparation
Directs kitchen personnel engaged in preparing, cooking and
serving food.
Oversees the preparation, portioning, garnishing, presentation
and safe storage of food and solves menu problems (e.g. recipe
substitutions).
Ensures that kitchen, equipment, and storage facilities are
sanitary, neat and organized.
Trains
other chefs in culinary skills and serves as a technical expert.
Probes
potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or
issues, using appropriate sidra resources when necessary.
Supervises day-to-day work activities by delegating authority,
assigning and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
Manages and monitors the performance of direct reportee's by
providing positive and constructive feedback and performance evaluations of
employees in the service line to reward, coach, correct and motivate.
Confers and advises patients and families on specific dietary
modified recipes to ensure proper food and nutrition requirements are met
with.
Ensures all licenses and certification are current for
employees.
Ensures compliance with all government and sidra regulations,
policies and procedures (e.g. HACCP, quality assurance, safety, operations, and
personnel).
Ensures a fine dining experience is provided for executives
Ensures the use of
business systems (CBORD) effectively
Establishes a safe work environment for employees by providing
safety-related training and equipment maintenance and by ensuring compliance
with sidra’s safety and loss prevention programs and standards.
Manages the budget by controlling costs (e.g. labour, inventory,
equipment, and materials), complying with budget requirements and making
adjustments when necessary.
Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements
and communicates them to employees.
Maintains and develops guest relationships and guest
satisfaction for all aspects of food production to ensure guest retention.
Plans
menus including methods, timetables and costs to support the sidra’s strategic
plan.
Ensures the execution of service quality by maintaining highest
level of delivery.
Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.
Organizes training and development for Sous Chefs and other
Chefs in the Culinary department
Conducts HACCP Audits
Works
closely with Supply Management and assists in Procurement procedures
Establishes and organizes Daily Taste Panels
Forecasts and plans Food Production and raw material
supply.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Lead - Enterprise Document
Management is responsible for developing, implementing and enhancing various

responsible for overseeing and managing the storage, protection, retrieval and
destruction of documents and records and ensuring the maintenance of vital and

Business Process Improvement Department plans, in line with the corporate

The Analyst - Release of
Information is responsible for supporting the Healthcare Information Management
