2019-12-13 10:14:35 Due to growth and expansion, we are currently looking for a QA/QC Manager to be based in Dubai for work in Iraq for an international oil company.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with Business Unit Managers to ensure the projects are adequately manned with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) personnel.
Carry out audits at both project and country level verifying the companys adherence to the Integrated Management System (IMS).
Prepare and issue Monthly Reports and issue to regional, ensuring that any reports generated on a Business Unit (BU) is copied to the respective Business Unit Representative in the country.
Support the tendering process when requested.
Carry out annual trend analysis of audit findings and utilising the findings communicate to all concerned parties the corrective action plans.
Liaison with Client QA Representatives.
Prepare the initial Project IMS program for the initial submittal for client approval.
Maintain accurate records of project and company performance in relation to NCRs INs, PQI, etc.
Communicate regularly with BU Managers and ensure that all reports generated in the QA/QC department appertaining to the BU are issued to them.
Provide support and guidance for all QA/QC staff in relation to the execution of their duties.
Recruit suitably qualified personnel for the department which satisfy the needs of both the project and the client.
Maintain a register and distribute a status of QA/QC personnel in and out of the country advising on their planned and actual vacation return dates.
Coordinate all IMS inductions for project personnel categorised as foreman and above.
Carry out all IMS inductions for all Country Office Functional staff as required, maintaining records of their inductions.
Assist and advise wherever necessary in relation to the IMS implementation including the closure of NCRs and INs.
Attend all necessary meetings as required, at project, country and regional level.
Participate actively in the continued development and improvement of the IMS system.
Maintain overall country logs for NCRs, Customer feedback etc.
Coordinate and follow up with Auditees to establish if corrective and preventive actions are being implemented and maintained.
Ensure that all unresolved issues are followed up with the appropriate parties and where necessary elevated to regional level.
Act as the facilitator in relation to providing copies of international standards to projects personnel.
When requested carry out Audits of subcontractors and material/equipment vendors.
Recommend and initiate training for QA/QC department personnel.
Develop where necessary Level 2 documentation pertaining to the QA/QC department and assist other department heads when they are developing similar procedures.
Carry out employee evaluations at the time of contract renewal and propose revisions to their contract for renewal.

13. Informs the Front Office Supervisor on duty about early check-in guests with amenities (fruits, flowers, etc) and relays specified amenities to Concierge, Room Service and Housekeeping based on schedules set.
14. Prints and distributes monthly statistical reports based on the following:
a. Business Origin
b. Geographical Source of Reservations
c. Country of Residence
d. Individual Room production of corporate accounts, travel agencies, airlines, etc.
15. Maintains a complete file of reports for easy reference
16. Processes and distributes all incoming and outgoing admin messages.
17. Updates Guest History masters on individual preferences, complaints, etc.
18. Maintains a file of each tour/convention group and reviews all data from the booking sheet.
19. Ensures that group arrivals are linked to the correct travel agency or company master , if any.
20. Closely monitors individual reservations of convention blocks based on reports and enforces cut-off controls.
21. Maintains systematic files of reservation records and other office correspondence.
22. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in the work/lounge area.
23. Attends monthly departmental meetings.
