Brand Manager Specialty Care - South Gulf (UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrian)DNAbbVie (NYSEABBV) is a global, research-based biopharmaceutical company formed in following separation from Abbott Laboratories The companys mission is to use its expertise, dedicated people and unique approach to innovation to develop and market advanced therapies that address some of the worlds most complex and serious diseases AbbVie employs approximately, people worldwide and markets medicines in more than countriesDescriptionPrimary ObjectiveDevelop and monitor Marketing Strategies as per corporateregionalaffiliate management direction while ensuring projects proper execution in order to grow the long term sales, profit and market share position for assigned products, to meet sales targets and business objectivesResponsibilities Build the Brand Marketing Strategy based on adequate Market Insights Coordinate and monitor the implementation of marketing strategies, advertising and promotion and ensure their execution Develop, when applicable, implement and update product training to sales force on an ongoing basis Coordinate introduction and launch of new products ie product design, costs, registration, trademarks, clinical programs, market research, P&L, material management, and affiliate training Forecast product requirements, identify potential supply issues, and develop contingency plans Participate in planning sales promotion and advertising in support of existing products, and determine market strategies and sales tactics to achieve product objectives Ensure all business activities comply with the relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards Review complaints and suggestions relating to assigned products Contribute to the achievement of margin and market share annual goals Manage Promotional spend according to approved budget Monitor competitors promo, pricing, product positioning and marketing moves by product business segment as well as their product line performance and institute corrective action as needed Coordinate SFE (Sales Force Effectiveness) activities and consolidate regions dataQualificationsRequirements and Criteria Bachelor degree in science or biomedicine or Business Discipline or Marketing or equivalent 3-4 years of experience within the Pharma Industry Project Management Experience Strong salesmarketing track record during the last 2 years (Achieved or Exceed Expectation) Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of computer based programs including spreadsheets and graphics (Excel and PowerPoint) Strong communication skills and leadership ability Ability to identify and solve problemsJob ClassificationExperiencedJobMARKETINGPrimary LocationUnited Arab Emirates-Dubai-DubaiOrganizationINTL-Intl PharmScheduleFull-timeShiftDayTravelYes, % of the Time
