Job Description

Purpose of the role

Based in our central kitchen (DIP) and reporting to the Head Chef, the Creative (Product Development) Chef is responsible for working and collaborating with the Nutrition Director and Head Chef to develop, modify and create recipes for companys Brands within the Nutrition Guidelines of the company including menu development, meal plans and functional food products Candidate should be passionate about healthy food
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Generates new recipes and modifies recipes monthly for Meal Plans, within set parameters of the Nutrition Guidelines

Take part in monthly meal plan cycle meeting reviews with Nutrition Team regarding likesdislikes market research and consumer feedback to gain insight on development of cycles

Assists Product Development and Recipe Standardization approval process for new recipes, menu items and menu modifications for all the companys World Projects

Accurate and precise recipe card generation for both single and batch development for all menu items

Works closely with Nutrition Team and Head Chef on the feasibility of new ideas including new recipes, modification of recipes and functional healthy ingredients (introducing new healthier ingredients, substituting current ones and so on)

Works with Nutrition Team to develop annual revisions for menu items or modify existing items based on business need and menu engineering process

Works with Purchasing ManagerProcurement to ensure quality of raw ingredients and food products used for this company World are in-line with Nutrition Guidelines

Researches and keeps current with food industry trends on ingredients, functional healthy ingredients, and food products attends Trade Events to review vendorssuppliers

Monitors quality control process for Kitchen scale ups of approved recipes before implementation including providing a finalized recipe, instructions, and
demonstrationtraining of outlet and kitchen staff on how to make the recipe, along with yields test and taste test approvals

To test all current recipes on a daily basis and come up with suggestions for improvement

Work with the Senior Chefs and make sure that the team follows the right cooking practices, and provide necessary training

Professional Requirements
College or Culinary Training
Minimum 5 years of experience in a kitchen with a focus on menu development, food preparation, and production
Commitment to quality service, accuracy and food knowledge
Extensive experience in menu development

Job Type Full Time (6 Daysweek)
Salary AED 15,000Month
