Job Description

1) Ensuring correct shipping documentation is prepared well in time to connect the desired vesselaircraft
2) Co-ordinate with Logistics team that pick upsdeliveries are made on schedule as per schedules promised to clientele to avoid customer complaints
3) Tracking of shipments from door to door keeping clients abreast of the status of their shipment at all times
4) Perform manual and automated data input which is used in assessing charges to be billed to client and MIS
5) Inspect and confirm validity of all associated documentation to ensure smooth movement of cargo from door to door
6) Liaise with government authorities such as Customs, Police, Ministry of HealthInformation, Chambers of Commerce and Foreign consulates required to ensure speedy Customs clearance at points of origindestination
7) Ensure at all times that shipments of restricted articles fully comply with the current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods RegulationsIMCO classifications and are loaded in accordance with the same
8) Work at all times within the framework set out by ISO 9001 specifications set out in the Companys Quality Manual, Procedures and Work Instructions to ensure compliance with the necessary accreditation
