QUALIFICATIONS
Essential National Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent
Desirable BA (Hons) Degree in graphic design or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Essential 1 years design experience with a strong design portfolio and accurate eye for detail
Desirable 3 years design experience working within a publishing company with an extensive portfolio of high standard magazine lay out
CORE ATTRIBUTES
- A creative thinker with an ability to turn editorial briefs into visually appealing conceptual design
- A high proficiency in all design programs, especially Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- A strong work ethic with a capacity to learn quickly in a fast-paced publishing environment
- Excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills with numerous stakeholders
- A team player with a committed and positive attitude
