The Engineering Manager (EM) shall be a licensed engineer thoroughly familiar with gas transmission and gas distribution requirements, codes and standardsThe EM shall have extensive experience with steel and PE gas piping networks, valves, flow and pressure control facilities, gas measurement, gas conditioning facilities, pigging, and shall be familiar with natural gas including natural gas with entrained contaminants such as dust and H2S, LPG storage and distribution networks, and SNG plants and distribution networksThe EM shall have experience of operating in a market environment and shall have familiarity with project management and project management tools and methodsFully familiar with Quality and HSE industry expectations and standards the EM shall ensure compliance to these requirements throughout the engineering group and engineering applications
Abilities
The EM shall have excellent communication skills, sound management principles, team management skills, fluent and professional spoken and written English, experience with multinational personnel and customs, broad international experience, and a flair for innovative problem solvingA thorough knowledge of relevant codes, standards, engineering software, office software, and current management practices is expected
