The Role Responsibilities

Strategy

Structuring Solutions Development team (SSD) is accountable for designing, structuring and delivering non-vanilla and bespoke solutions for Cash to our client base across the range of transaction banking products
SSD is a core part of the product management team that is accountable for ensuring that the solutions developed are in compliant with the Banks policies and procedures, regulatory framework as well as ensuring that the products and process are in line with market needs and overall strategic product directions
This team builds solutions for the future (whilst Sales is about todays product), working with clients whose needs are more complex and for whom there may be no readily available product on the shelf
The role is to lead a team of specialist transactors with experience across relationship management, product structuring, and risk assessment

Business

Creating complex solutions that are relevant to the clients that enables the bank and Transaction Banking (TB) to be a leader in the market
Working in tandem with teams in coverage, TB, Product Management in country or region, and the transactors, structure and implement bespoke cash - based financing solutions to meet clients financing needs, including but not limited to open ac financing, inventorywarehouse finance, etc and which mitigate risks
Drive origination and solutioning of needs across client segments
Intensive focus on building a robust pipeline and drive conversion of the pipeline towards incremental revenue by managing and maximizing the utilization
Providing inputs to product management team to keep products and process in line with market need

Creating and designing bespoke solutions

Solutions typically involve specific tailored third-party partnerships (both SCB and client arrangedappointed 3rd Party)
Deals requiring bespoke sell downinsuranceclub dealSyndications ECA arrangements
structured cash ecosystem deals
structured e-commerce market places solutions
Complex RS, BBTL, VPP and pre-payment structures
Complex Virtual account Virtual account for payments Virtual Ledger API structures
Complex pooling (MCNP) liquidity management Interest Optimisation structures
Structuring and implementation of bespoke cash-based solutions across existing products or where appropriate, drive co-creation opportunities that will meet clients cash management andor financing needs

Processes

Own and ensure all processes as per the SSD rules of engagement and those required under the Cash Sales process universe are adhered to

People and Talent

Evaluate, implement and manage relevant skills and training programs required for to upskill the capability of the transactions as well as providing learning support to Global Sales and Client Management Teams
Ensure recruitment and people management is in accordance with Group HR policy and procedures
Ensure all identified certified persons (CP) under the certification regime (CR) are fit for purpose and have completed all mandatory certification e-learning obligations with the Structured Solutions Team Employee Universe

Risk Management

Manage all Transaction Banking risks in SSD globally, conform to global standards, improve risk metrics, e-enablement & culture, and ensure no failed audits (internal & external),
Drive the Operational Risk framework implementation, where applicable

Regulatory & Business conduct

Display exemplary conduct and live by the Groups Values and Code of Conduct
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct
Lead the Structured Solutions Team in TB to achieve the outcomes set out in the Banks Conduct Principles [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Financial Crime Prevention; The Right Environment]
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters
Embed and adhere the Groups values and Code of Conduct ensuring compliance with ethics, relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees

Other Responsibilities

Embed Here for good and Groups brand and values in SSD team globally,
Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures
Multiple functions (double hats); Represent Sales in Cash PGC; Global Process Owner for Cash Sales within the Operational Risk Framework
Drive and own the distribution of Transaction Banking marketing material and ensure communication to clients is accurate and in the best interest of the parties involved and are in accordance with the marketing plan reviewed by the Global head of Transaction Banking
