Group CFO Dubai HQ

This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a rapidly growing Business Group

We are seeking to hire a Group CFO for our Business Group

We are a large multi-national conglomerate with a presence in 16 countries across Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Far East and with its HQ in Dubai It has a diverse business portfolio across 8 sectors including telecom, commodities and luxury goods with interests in transportation, education, forex , real estate development and agriculture with a turnover of 15 Billion

Our main lines of business are Telecom, Commodity Trading, Luxury goods with current regional exposure mainly in Africa and UAE You will be reporting to the Group Chairman and overlooking Finance function of the entire group

Your main responsibilities will include
Assist in formulating the companys future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
Construct and monitor reliable control systems, develop financial strategies
Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
Develop performance measures that support the companys strategic direction
Manage the accounting, investor relations, legal, and treasury matters
Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations
Cash flow Management, balance sheet, P&L
Maintain banking relationships
Represent the company with investment bankers and investors and report financial results to the board of directors
Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts and arrange for debt and equity financing Investment funds

To qualify for this position you should be a Qualified Chartered AccountantMBA(Finance) or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills Substantial experience working in a Group CFO capacity for a large business consisting of a diverse portfolio ie Telecom, Trading, FMCG will be an added advantage You must possess excellent ability to communicate and persuade at all levels
