Key Tasks
Opening restaurant
Assign stations allocation for the staff
Make pre-shift motivate all the staff, mentioning 86-items, thought of the day, up-selling, ppa, daily sales from previous day
Ensure before opening, all furniture is clean, side stations re-stocked, requisition picked up, each station holder is in their section
Lead by example
Tables must be visited while manager or supervisor is not on duty
Note guest comments even negative one and always thank the guest for bringing their comment to our attention
Make sure when it comes to discounts you swipe your card only if you have proved id or proper explanation form the staff
Comps have to be signed immediately
Comps with out signature or reason authorized by head waiter will be your responsibility in case of any issue or mistake
Void has to be signed by bartender or chef before you do void, including a proper reason
Head waiter is always communicating and co-operating with shift director
Always make sure any issue has to be reported to supervisor or manager immediately
Make sure you always thank the staff and let them know you noticed their great job done during the day
Always be positive and think twice before you make any decision
Inventory will be your duty along with shift director
