Ice CreamWL Grade 1EJob Position Ice Cream Sales and Operations Asst ManagerReports to Country Director UAELocation DubaiMain purpose of the role Manage the overall ice cream business for UAE, and develop both GT &MT channel in UAE (MT,self service, groceries ), to deliver the agreed growth targets related to UAEs business The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies for both GT and MT pre-selling salesmen, improving visibility and distribution that will drive share improvements, building strong relationship with top customers throughout UAE and developing a strong motivated sales team The role is a hands-on role, that will require significant time in the market throughout the ponsble for planning and forecasting for Ice cream Business in consultation with Unilever Turkey stake holders Main accountabilites Deliver the agreed growth and market improvement targets for both GT and MT To work closely with the UT Ice cream Sales Manager to align all the below the line activities To work with Algida brand category teams in Unilever Turkey on all the below the line activities To translate all categories agendas into channel agenda including plans for the trade and to be responsible for achievement of these plans within the budget Responsible for ensuring correct stock levels at both Warehouse as well as with top MT GT customers are maintained, and that the channel teams are covering agreed universe productively Responsible for initiating channel improvement initiatives Building strong relationship with the key customers throughout UAE Lead training, development, coaching for the sales team Responsible for budgets implementation as agreed with Unilever Turkey team To make contributions to AGU TMU Sales and profitability targets To ensure collections are happening as per norms To support Cabinets follow up and maintenance To ensure organized and safe storage of visibility materials and cabins To ensure inventory of WH stocks once in a fortnight To ensure implementation of cabinets thru team Prepare launchrelaunch pipeline and visibility volumes and communicate to the sales team after clearing it with UT team Discuss Distribution Implementation plans with UT team Category Managers and communicate strategy to respective Sales team Ensure all POS material for launchrelaunch are available to the market before launchre-launch Ensure that all agreed launch volumes are in the forecast plan Work with supply chain in Turkey to ensure stocks are supplied in time to UAECommunicate progress on launchrelaunch targets on an agreed periodic basisCommunicate qualitative feedback on the launchrelaunch to the respective category heads in Unilever TurkeyUse OPSO to Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback on major promotions to the Category heads Maintain and update periodically a database by brandby categoryby market on in-store visibility (Cabinets placement ) Prepare planograms by market by channel by category and roll it out to markets after approval from brandcategory headsPrepare and analyse visibility costs vs benefits by brand by category by market and suggest actions to ensure maximum benefits are derived from spendsMaintain a catalogue of all KA displays both shelf and off shelf Also maintain a catalogue on outstanding displays during promotion on special eventsClosely work with Supply chain team to improve forecast accuracyChannel Understanding- MT GT(Retail) trade understanding- Trend and dynamics of both MT GT channel- Right Assortment(By Sub channel )Forecast by Channel- Develop channel forecast based on support plan - Follow sales and report deviation against forecast POS Material- Develop channel relevant and effective POSM- Coordinate with categorybrand team the development of all required material- Allocation and distribution of all POSM by region LaunchRe-launch- Initial sell-in volume quantities- Develop Trade plan -
