Job Description

Scope and responsibilities

IT Support (remote and on-site)

Problem investigation

Problem diagnosis

Solution implementation

Documentation of actions and findings

Updating the internal customer throughout process of the problem definitionsolution

Escalation of problems where appropriate to line Manager

Set up of user accounts

Pro-active support - on-going maintenance and monitoring of systems in accordance with appropriate plans

Preparing new computers for new entrants and replacements

Troubleshooting servers and other Audio Video infrastructure

Ongoing documentation and updating of records regarding supported networks
Manage Contractual Relationship with suppliers

Manage Delta Partners  account with telecom Operators regarding mobiles and internet

Negotiate new suppliers for all IT requirements

Follow up with telecom partners regarding any user issues

Manage all the paper work in this regard
Knowledge experience skills

Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience IT Support, Network engineering

Academic qualifications in IT related subject

Windows client (windows 7, 8) operating System installation, configuration and troubleshooting

Mac Hardware and software installation, configuration and troubleshooting

Windows server operating system installation, configuration and troubleshooting

Server Hardware support and troubleshooting (Raid Configuration, Virtualization)

Active directory administration        (user creation, group management, group policy)

DNS troubleshooting techniques

Networking skills (LAN, WAN and WLAN)

Laptop Hardware maintenance (change keyboard, HD and memory)

Email Clients Configuration and troubleshooting (Outlook, Outlook for MAC, Mail for Mac, Blackberry and

mobile devices)

Printers’ installation, configuration and troubleshooting

Familiar with users and servers backup applications

Familiar with AudioVideo Equipment (video conference and Projectors)

Familiar with antivirus applications

Familiar with IP phone systems
