Job Description

Job summary MasterCard Academy provides MasterCard clients with a series of state-of-the art training programmes and educational services to help them maximize the business opportunity resulting from using MasterCard Products and Services within their card payments practice It covers a wide scope of topics across the card payment value chain, ranging from Products to business and technical operations, Fraud & Risk Management, acquiring, new technologies (eg chip, mobile) A key component of this mission is the ability to offer the right courses for the right markets, at the expected quality and at the right price The Training Manager, MasterCard Academy directly contributes to this objective by taking responsibility for capturing the training needs of our clients in specific markets, then identifying, structuring, organising and supervising the delivery of the courses that will fully meet these needs In particular, heshe will play a significant role in the negotiation and organisation of on-site training programmes with clients The role reports to Vincent Bellis, Head of Customer Delivery MEA Key accountabilities Understand existing Academy courses and partner with Academy Team to streamline and standardise the administration of these through effective processes Work with regional management and Customer Delivery Leads to formalise Customers needs for the MEA divisions Work with other members of the Academy to propose a series of training programmes addressing these needs, including competitive positioning, target audience, high level contents, supplier model, competitive pricing etc - Monitor training programmes performance against objectives (competitive positioning, financial return, client satisfaction) and drive continuous improvements as required Prepare client proposals for on-site trainings, support negotiation with clients and ensure proper execution of the resulting training arrangements end-to-end Supervise proper execution of the assigned trainings from the Academy Curriculum and Program Schedule and assigned Regional Seminars, including organisation, action plans from clients feedback, invoicing, billing, and issue resolution Keep abreast of best practices in the training industry, vendor offerings, market trends and available technologies Translate this information into improved strategy and processes for Academy Act as Academy trainer by delivering selected courses from the Academy curriculum face-to-face to participating Customers Contribute to the management, forecast and control of Academy revenues Competencies Minimum 5-7 years in a multinational environment Ideally, regional experience in the MEA market as well as paymentscards exposure Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Proven track record in successfully organizing running activities or events preferably with external parties (clients, suppliers) end-to-end Positive and entrepreneurial mindset with a very strong customer-first attitude Ability to work independently and interact in confidence with management and possibly senior management positions internally and within client organisations on the subject of trainings and education Ability to multi-task within a fast paced operational environment Hands-on, solution and result oriented attitude Problem solving skills Experience in a training coaching environment is a definitely a plus Financial management skills
