Position Overview
Coordinates activities of the Corporate Security Department at ADNOC across ADNOC Infrastructure Assets Coordinates proposals related to policies and procedures concerning governance matters and provide advice to Manager, Corporate Security Dept to implement the same
General Description of Role & Responsibilities
Assists in provide advice to the Manager and Heads, Corporate Security Dept on all matters pertaining to Governance & Compliance
Coordinates to develop and maintains operational standards and processes in accordance with the companys Codes of Practice
Coordinates to develop and deliver operational programs and plans in support of Corporate Security Dept and its functions
Incident reporting and investigation lead for the Governance Section, including assisting the Head, Governance Section on the reporting and categorization of incidents from various Units and functions, and the quality assurance of investigation reports, the maintenance of a collective lessons learned information database and the tracking of actions arising
Coordinates to maintain current changes to HSE legislation, codes, guidelines and industry standards, interpreting these changes and assisting in the development of actions to meet such requirements
Identify opportunities and efficiencies to improve overall HSE standards and performance throughout the Departments operation
Develop and Implements of the occupational health and safety procedures and associated programs where required
Develop and deliver HS&E awareness and workforce engagement programs, as required, including personal presentation and co-ordination of programs with individual teams as may be specified from time to time
Liaison with the ADNOC HSE Corporate, developing, and maintaining compliance plans, compliance reports and action tracking registers
Provide direction and lead on policy and HSE management systems
Support projects by carrying out suitable risk analysis and providing best practice solutions to ensure project success
To be conversant and ensures proper implementation of Company HSE policies, procedures and standards
Review continuously improvement of operation in the light of changing requirements
Issue instruction for correct safety operation
Review Contractors performance on safety aspects and producing overall assessment, including following up with Contractors management on area of concern
Developing safety procedures and specifications to clear out functional liabilities and to improve operation function
Periodically advising management on the safety condition of all ADNOC-owned facilities
Updates the Safety Management Action Plan (SMAP) and propagate through all concerned, including the top management
Conducts meetings with consultants and suppliers to evaluate pre-design informationdata on safety
Chairing committees in HSE-related issues for the development of implementation procedures
Provides safety management function to projects of various sizes within the Group Services & Administration Unit, ensuring liaison with and the provision of such servicefunction to Projects Directorate and Supply UnitDivision
Evaluates and approve the preparation of monthly activity safety reports Includes highlighting activitiesareas for improvement and making recommendations to management regarding overall performances
Performs other similar or related duties as assigned, such as providing safety advice to Engineers regarding changes in layouts aswhen requested by various Directorates; ensuring the maintenance and updating of all files and records; etc
Ensures that all ADNOC employees, visitors and contractors are aware of the Emergency Response Procedure Plan and the location of each Assembly Point Area in all ADNOC-owned facilities
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Operational Safety Engineering or equivalent
8 years experience including 4 years of experience in an industrialcommercial HSE role
NEEBOSH IGC Certificate is preferable
IOSH Certificate is preferable
