Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the accuracy of payroll entries for new employees
Creation and maintenance of payroll process documents
Development and implementation of payroll checklists
Responsible for quarterly internal audit of payroll
CRS reconciliations, leave reconciliations, and management of leave balances
Computation of final settlements and any adjustments required including administration in CRS and cheque coordination with finance
Generates payroll reports such as public holidays, overtime, taxi, on call, time and attendance, sick leave, annual leave, provisions, batch reports and any other adhoc reports required by management
With the HR Officer, responsible for month end reporting to Hospital Director
Generation of Budget related data
Development of budget spreadsheets
Manages all files related to payroll
Assist with and leads where appropriate, the auditing of staff employee files
Assists in the management of administrative documents as allocated by the HR Officer and HR Manager
Provides assistance in the generation of employee letters and other documentation eg salary certificates as required
Undertakes project work as designated by HR Manager
Provides assistance to HR Officers and GR Officer as required
Provides assistance with recruitment as appropriate
Manages the Petty Cash for the department
SkillsExperience Required

Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
Human Resources Diploma or other relevant qualification (ie Accounting, Payroll Management)
Previous experience working in a similar role in a hospital environment
Previous experience in payroll administration with a payroll size of at least 700 employees in the last 2 years
Good spoken and written communication skills in English
Must be organized and understand processes and procedures
Must have very good interpersonal skills and good negotiation skills
Must have strong problem solving skills
Must have the ability to work within a multicultural team
ExpertAdvanced user of Microsoft Excel
Must have excellent skills in numerical manipulation and reporting
Bachelors Degree (preferred)
Experience in the development of budget documentation, and previous experience in recruitment in the UAE would be well regarded
