At IKEA "creating a better everyday life for the many" isnt only our vision, its our way of life!About the RoleTo use IKEA Knowledge and to work with the regional team and the store teams, to steer the region towards growth, optimal performance and sustained long term profitability To always take a multi-dimensional view, considering the customer, commercial, people, financial and operational perspectives Takes ownership of all reviews within the stores Secure control on operations and procedures in line with company policies and guidelinesCustomersTo work with the stores and to look at the operation through the eyes of the customer* Follow up with the store to ensure they are aware of the local market and working with the commercial team to support commercial activities, which will convert more visitors to customers, and generate repeat store visits, balancing our business needs with our customers needs* Co-operating and influencing the commercial team, my team and other support functions to ensure that they understand* the customers perspective when implementing new solutions and evaluating exiting ones* Working with the store team to ensure the stores are appropriately staffed at all times of the day* E-commerce- continue to enhance and improve* E-commerce develop for new countries * To improve the overall customers shopping experience* Waiting times* Instant gratification* A fun day out for the family* Mechanical sales* Basics and standards* Services develop new services based on the marketCommercial* To work with the store and service office colleagues to secure our knowledge and understanding of all components driving gross margin to maximise profit* Working with the stores to improve productivities and efficiencies* To challenge the staff planning process To have the right number of co-workers, at the right times, in the right place to meet visitor and customer needs* To drive the CGRpeak dayOR and CGR reviews in the stores to ensure that store standards are improved and best practices are usedPeople* To coach and challenge the store managers in order for them to able to operate a successful IKEA store * To ensure that best practices are shared between stores* Working with the store managers and customer relations managers to enhance and launch the new CR job roleFinancial* To have a full overview of the P&L for the stores, IKEA food and the service office and to make recommendations on areas of improvements for costs and expenses* To encourage the stores, IKEA food and service office to discover more effective ways of cost conscious ways of working to make us quicker, leaner and simpler and through this lower our cost structureOperations* Audits - to carry out regular audits on all aspects of the stores, IKEA food and the service office when required* To ensure that store procedures are set up for new stores and are followed by both new and running store
