EmersonAutomation Solutions Flow Solutions business group is positioned to provideLifecycle Services through its proven expertise, technology and processes thatcan help our customers to operate safely, improve metering systems, flowproducts reliability and to optimize process capabilities Our field servicecapabilities enable our customer plants and metering systems to operate safely,consistently and economically The Business Unit is also focused on achievingprecision measurement and process control by ensuring our customers have rightflow technology for their specific needsBasedin our Dubai, UAE office, we are looking for ActionOriented and Results Driven Technical Sales Engineer that will improvecustomer experience by ensuring the right flow technology is provided for theirspecific application The Temporary Technical Sales Engineer will drive thebusiness by offering technical and commercial solution to customersOverview Purpose of PositionThe Technical Sales Engineer assists the salesorganization by independently creating high-quality, complex quotations thatare technically and commercially accurate and delivered on time The Engineer servesas the primary technical advisor for the customer and aims to provide thehighest standards of customer service in accordance with the Think Customerprinciples Direct involvement in sales activities follow-up of quotes sent towin orders as well as providing support in countries with no sales presence arealso part of the main responsibilities of the roleWhat will be myresponsibilities in this role?Focus on EPC and Strategic Accounts Tier 2 & 3 proposals as priority,followed by Tier 1 & 0In close partnership with inside and outside sales team, serve as themain customer contact for quotation technical scope to ensure requirements areunderstood and establish sales strategy is appliedAccurately perform sizing and enter quote proposal in the businesssystems, send quote sizing and other related documents to the internalexternalcustomers as required taking into consideration technical deviations, thecustomer s lead-time and budgetary requirementsRespond to inquiries about Flow products and services; provides technicalsolutions and general application assistance to leverage the competition andconvey differentiationEnsure technical documentation is approved and completed to scheduleSupport our ability to deliver cross-Business Units solutions as a singleentityAdhere to frame agreements, pricing agreements, legal and tradecompliance requirementsBe involved in quote-to-cash cycle including but not limited to Verifythat Purchase Orders are in accordance to the offered financial and technicalproposal and resolve any technical-related issues that occur during the ordercycleAct as a liaison between customers, sales offices and factoriesDocument customer satisfaction feedback in CRM, following-up asappropriate Identify and promote productservice improvement based on customercommentDevelop and maintain a sound knowledge of business processes andcompetitive positioningActively attend relevant technical trainings to maintain an advancedlevel of product and application knowledgeEnsure activities are carried out according to agreed departmental KPIsand proceduresMaintain accurate and complete records in CRM and other tools as requiredSupport Order Execution to ensure that purchase orders are commerciallyand technically clean and accurate, and to resolve any technical-related issuesthat occur during order cycleAdhere to Emerson s commitment to Environment, Health & Safety as acore business value
