Technical Trainer – Solar AcademyNewly created position for our sales and service subsidiary, SMA Middle East, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
 
Key responsibilities

Responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive strategic training schedules for the training centre, in cooperation with SMA Middle East, Dubai & Abu Dhabi, and the Solar Academy at Headquarters
Ensuring the smooth and professional running of the Solar Academy (our training centre)
Developing and preparing of training materials for PV inverters and associated communications technology
Performing in-house training courses for customers and employees as well as with customers on-site
Ensuring the high quality of the courses
 
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelors degree or educational training in Electrical Engineering along with several years of work experience in an electro technical environment
At least three years of working experience as a technical trainer combined with excellent teaching skills
A sound understanding of the Middle East electricity market and inverters or other similar products
Strong sales and customer focus, good people skills and a highly motivated self-starter
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint
Fluency in the Arabic and English language (written and oral) is a must
Willing to occasionally travel to our headquarters in Germany for setting strategies or exchanging experiences with colleagues from other countries as well as to clients or trade shows in Middle East
 
Training

Up to 2 weeks in our headquarters in Niestetal, Germany

Reports to the Business Development Manager of SMA Middle East
