- To install, secure, upgrade, patch and maintain oracle application database, software utilities as part of Database Support Services and ensure availability of Database instances
- Installation Pre-requisites (software, system software, tools, Oracle patches, etc)
- Escalate DBA activities issues to Oracle and third parties as appropriate and ensure timely problem resolution
d Maintain & provide installation, back-up, start-up & shut-down procedures, routine housekeeping jobs, policies & documentation to customer IT for maintaining application
instances
- Prepare technical Documents for the DBA Activities and submit for review to Project Manager or Team Lead
- Ensure quality and adhere to timeline of the Project in cooperation with team members
- Demonstrate continuous improvement to learn and grow in gaining application DBA
- Handle Database and application Performance issues
- Provide 247 support for critical situations
- Participate in project closure activities for every project related to DBA Activities and secure all documentscode and deliverables with the central repository
