The Position

This market leader in industrial equipment and transportation is at the
forefront of innovation and services supporting organisations with every day on
demand business They have a unique opportunity to join the sales team as a sales
leader or BDM Your role will encapsulate consulting with new prospect clients
within the UAE Middle
East & International Division
Responsible for scoping out new opportunities through consultation and
developing bespoke services and solutions

 

Reporting directly to
the Managing Director as the Sales ManagerBDM you will be responsible for the
360 degree end to end client engagement and management from sales forecasting, business
and account planning, stakeholder engagement, as well as supporting the team in
exceeding its sales targets and increased market penetration

You will be highly
motivated and driven leader, enthusiastic and personable sales professional
with a focus on results You must have a passion for coachingmentoring your
sales team as well as the ability to lead by example with your business acumen,
technical expertise and problem solving capabilities


In this role the successful candidate
will require the following skills and expertise 




The ability to work across the full
business lifecycle leveraging internal and external resources and
inspiring the sales team to achieve its goals and targets consistentlyPassion for
developing, coaching and leading othersProven sales track record of success
selling industrial engineering equipment, machinery or heavy
transportation and developing a long-term strategy, competitor analysis improving
penetration into existing accounts and new business opportunitiesResponsible
for managing the execution and coordination of all equipment and transportation
requirements within the organization including managing budgets,
organizing schedules & routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and
meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their
dutiesPlan budgets
and business growth through interaction with other senior managers and the
marketing teamDeveloped
& implemented commercial plans including territory or business plans,
budget planning and performance analysis & assessmentUnderstanding
of the principles of relationship selling and coaching techniquesPossess
strong relationship building skills, negotiation and influencing skills
and have a strong focus on customer serviceCustomer focused sales professional that
is able to understand the bigger pictureProposal writing and presentations

non-technical business leaders to ‘C’ level

Industry
related qualifications ideally MA CEP Accredited or similar
qualificationsIdeally
Tertiary qualified in Logistics, Transportation, business management or
strong interest in becoming industry qualifiedPrevious
experience 5-7 years’ in transport and logistics, and industrial heavy
good equipment hireMarket and
sector knowledge within the UAEMiddle East would be highly desirable
