You will have solid experience and knowledge in substation equipment design, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair, as well as having wide knowledge in O&M new technologies. In-depth knowledge of international specifications, codes, and standards, with knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods and design details is required. Responsibilities:
Following are major duties required (Not limited to):
1. Meet with clients to determine opportunity requirements; Tier objective, budgets, and define the scope of a project; planned timescales and the resources needed (Designers/Engineers/Contractors/Vendors).
2. Clarify a client's systems specifications, understanding their work performances and the nature of their features and functional specifications.
3. Manage the overall design process and its activities and coordinate with designers and engineering experts to produce optimum design and meet target availability and performance objectives within the approved budget and program specifications.
4. Perform assessment and site survey of existing data center facilities and underlying electrical infrastructures to determine deficiencies and gaps as opposed to standards and best practices.
5. Calculate total power requirement of IT and cooling loads and determine capacity and specifications for electrical power from utility, generators, transformers, ATS, ups, and distribution to the IT environment.
6. Advise on the most appropriate type of cooling solutions and size capacity and determine specifications of A/C equipment of CRAC/CRAH and HVAC systems.
7. Verify design of site layout for the Electrical plant as well as proper routing of cabling and piping distribution.
8. Establish floor plan including Rack layout, cable trays layout, location of CCTV and type of Access Control to the Data Hall.
9. Perform site inspection and site survey and generate documents and punch lists specifying areas of shortcomings and recommendations for enhancements.
10. Oversee power distribution cable layout and labeling, patch panels conjunction, and power strip plugging in line with approved design documents
11. Supervise installation of new equipment, such as Generators, ATS, ups, Condensers, CRACs/CRAHs, pipes and pumps, CCTVs, FM200. Supervise testing and commissioning activities to make sure systems are well integrated and working properly as design intended.
12. Create Microsoft Visio sketches and high level designs for Electrical Single Line Diagram (SLD), and Floor Plans to enable designers understand performance and configuration requirements.
13. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in his/her area of work.
14. Undertake any other duties assigned by his/her direct manager.

Witness start-up and run performance tests of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Suppression, Compressor, Laboratory Gas system to ensure that all systems are integrated and working together.
Monitor the HVAC & Plumbing equipment for compliance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
Participate in testing, adjusting and balancing of ventilation system to ensure requirements of Laboratory Environment are meeting design intent.
Ensure that all commissioning procedures follow all appropriate safety practices and procedures.
Attend construction and commissioning meeting to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
Coordinate the start-up and turnover of the facilities, systems and equipment to the end user (maintenance department and researcher).
Participate in the walkthrough of laboratory facilities and develop list of exception item to be submitted to contractor agency in order to ensure all equipment and its accessories are installed according to project specification and international standards.
Coordinate and follow up on the lab equipment procurement process with the faculty, the design contractor, and the procurement contractor to ensure speedy placement and delivery to coincide with lab construction completions, and to minimize duplication of tools.
Prepare commissioning progress report for system owner / management.
Coordinate in solving a Performance Notification Request (PNR) with contractor agency (SAPMT) and Operation & Maintenance department.

7. Verify design of site layout for the Electrical plant as well as proper routing of cabling and piping distribution.
8. Establish floor plan including Rack layout, cable trays layout, location of CCTV and type of Access Control to the Data Hall.
9. Perform site inspection and site survey and generate documents and punch lists specifying areas of shortcomings and recommendations for enhancements.
10. Oversee power distribution cable layout and labeling, patch panels conjunction, and power strip plugging in line with approved design documents
11. Supervise installation of new equipment, such as Generators, ATS, ups, Condensers, CRACs/CRAHs, pipes and pumps, CCTVs, FM200. Supervise testing and commissioning activities to make sure systems are well integrated and working properly as design intended.

Responsibilities:
Following are major duties required (Not limited to):
1. Meet with clients to determine opportunity requirements; Tier objective, budgets, and define the scope of a project; planned timescales and the resources needed (Designers/Engineers/Contractors/Vendors).
2. Clarify a client's systems specifications, understanding their work performances and the nature of their features and functional specifications.
3. Manage the overall design process and its activities and coordinate with designers and engineering experts to produce optimum design and meet target availability and performance objectives within the approved budget and program specifications.

7. Verify design of site layout for the Electrical plant as well as proper routing of cabling and piping distribution.
8. Establish floor plan including Rack layout, cable trays layout, location of CCTV and type of Access Control to the Data Hall.
9. Perform site inspection and site survey and generate documents and punch lists specifying areas of shortcomings and recommendations for enhancements.
10. Oversee power distribution cable layout and labeling, patch panels conjunction, and power strip plugging in line with approved design documents
11. Supervise installation of new equipment, such as Generators, ATS, ups, Condensers, CRACs/CRAHs, pipes and pumps, CCTVs, FM200. Supervise testing and commissioning activities to make sure systems are well integrated and working properly as design intended.
12. Create Microsoft Visio sketches and high level designs for Electrical Single Line Diagram (SLD), and Floor Plans to enable designers understand performance and configuration requirements.
13. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in his/her area of work.
14. Undertake any other duties assigned by his/her direct manager.

The holder of this position will interface with faculty, design contractor, construction agency and equipment procurement agency in order to fulfill these tasks.
Major Responsibilities:
Supervise and provide technical support to specialized engineers, technical staff and contractors.
Oversee the review and approval process for all HVAC & Plumbing equipment commissioning and performance.
Facilitate communication among contractor agency, Saudi Aramco Project Management Team (SAPMT), designer agency (HOK), faculty and maintenance personnel (O&M).
Work with the commissioning team to follow up on the lab commissioning process through to Mechanical Completion Certificate (MCC) signature.
Review and approve commissioning documents that include drawings, method statement, check list and functional test forms.
Review the design of laboratory basic facilities such as HVAC and Plumbing system to verify compliance with international standard of IBC, ASHRAE, SMACNA and NFPA.
Inspect installation of major mechanical equipment such as AHU, Pumps, Dehumidifier and Air Compressor based on approved commissioning documents.
Witness start-up and run performance tests of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Suppression, Compressor, Laboratory Gas system to ensure that all systems are integrated and working together.
Monitor the HVAC & Plumbing equipment for compliance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
Participate in testing, adjusting and balancing of ventilation system to ensure requirements of Laboratory Environment are meeting design intent.
Ensure that all commissioning procedures follow all appropriate safety practices and procedures.
Attend construction and commissioning meeting to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
Coordinate the start-up and turnover of the facilities, systems and equipment to the end user (maintenance department and researcher).
Participate in the walkthrough of laboratory facilities and develop list of exception item to be submitted to contractor agency in order to ensure all equipment and its accessories are installed according to project specification and international standards.
Coordinate and follow up on the lab equipment procurement process with the faculty, the design contractor, and the procurement contractor to ensure speedy placement and delivery to coincide with lab construction completions, and to minimize duplication of tools.
Prepare commissioning progress report for system owner / management.
Coordinate in solving a Performance Notification Request (PNR) with contractor agency (SAPMT) and Operation & Maintenance department.
Participate in weekly Deficiencies Rectification meeting to resolve problems.
Required Education:
A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
